Tramadol jet NRV * is indicated for processes or etiologies that present with moderate to severe pain, of acute, chronic origin or refractory to other treatments (fractures, dislocations, fibromyalgia, amputations, oncological, visceral, osteo-articular, muscular, syndromes urological, dental, ovarian-hysterectomy, inguinal orchiectomy) can also be used as a preoperative analgesic, postoperatively and diagnostic exploration procedures that present pain in domestic feline canines as well as in show and sport horses.
FORMULA:
Each ml contains:
Tramadol hydrochloride equivalent to 20 mg of Tramadol base
Vehicle c.b.p. 1 ml
TRAMADOL JET NRV Injection
1 ml. / 10-20 kg.
30 ml.
DOSE:
It is recommended to start the dosage with small doses, to later increase it until finding the effective dose for each pet.
Canines (1 to 2 mg / kg bw):
To dose 1 mg / kg of b.w .: 1 ml for every 20 kg of b.w. IDB
To dose 2 mg / kg bw: 1 ml / 10 kg bw IDB
If more frequent administration is necessary, TID or QID if the pain is severe, do not exceed 10 mg / kg per day.
Reduce the dose gradually after 24-48 h until the treatment is suspended (between 7 to 14 days at most, if it is necessary to resume treatment, leave a rest period similar to the days dosed in the first treatment).
Domestic felines (1 to 2 mg / kg bw):
To dose 1 mg / kg of b.w .: 0.5 ml for every 10 kg of b.w. IDB
To dose 2 mg / kg bw: 51 ml / 5 kg bw IDB
During 24-48 h Reduce the dose gradually until stopping the treatment (between 7 to 14 days maximum, if it is necessary to resume the treatment, leave a rest space similar to the first treatment.
Horses for exposure or sport (1 mg / kg b.w.):
30 ml per 600 kg of body weight (eq. At 1 mg / kg)
The dose adjustment will be made by the Zootechnical Veterinary Doctor who prescribes it according to the intensity of the pain and the individual susceptibility to each pet.

Domestic Canines and Felines: Intramuscular, subcutaneous, Intravenous or epidural infusion.
