Avipen Tornel 50ml, analgesic, expectorant and cardiorespiratory stimulant for birds
As an antibiotic, analgesic, antipyretic, expectorant and bronchodilator since it is made up of benzathine, procaine and potassium penicillins from the beta-lactam family and by two aminoglycosides such as streptomycin and dihydrostreptomycin; The combination of these results in this product being a broad spectrum antimicrobial due to the synergistic action of its components. It acts on Gram positive and Gram negative agents.
It can be used for the treatment of diseases caused by: Haemopylus gallinarum, Pasteurella spp., E. coli, Salmonella spp., Mycoplasma spp, also in respiratory complications that occur during Newcastle, infectious bronchitis, laryngotracheitis and chronic respiratory disease.
Its analgesic and antipyretic action is produced by dipyrone and guaiac, since they have expectorant and cardiorespiratory effects.
FORMULA:
Once the product is reconstituted, each ml contains:
Benzathine Penicillin G 8,000 I.U.
Penicillin G procaine 3,000 I.U.
Potassium Penicillin G 1,000 I.U.
Dihydrostreptomycin sulfate 10.0 mg
Streptomycin sulfate 10.0 mg
Sterile diluent, c.b.p. 1.0 ml.
Each ml of sterile diluent contains:
Dipyrone sodium 5.0 mg
Guaiac glycerol ether 1.5 mg
Vehicle, c.b.p. 1.0 ml.
USE IN:
Broilers, laying hens, turkeys, ducks, geese and ostriches.
DOSE:
Birds under 3 weeks: 0.1 to 0.25 ml
Birds from 3 to 6 weeks: 0.50 ml.
Adult birds: 1.0 ml.
Ducks, turkeys, geese (depending on weight): from 1.5 to 3.0 ml.
Ostrich chicks 1 to 10 days old: 0.25 ml subcutaneous.
Ostrich chicks 11 to 90 days old: 0.50 to 1.0 ml subcutaneous.
Ostrich chicks 3 1/2 to 6 months of age: 2.0 to 7.0 ml intramuscular in the breast.
In all cases every 24 hours. for 4 consecutive days.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:
Deep intramuscular.
WARNING:
Do not use this product 30 days before the slaughter of animals destined for human consumption.
PRESENTATIONS:
Bottles with powder to reconstitute at 10.0, 20.0, 50.0 and 100.0 ml.
