Acetidrona – 20 ml
Acetidrona – 20 ml, Fluorinated glucocorticoid with low electrolytic retention. The acetonide group gives it sustained action. It presents hyperglycemic, anti-inflammatory and antiallergic activity. Also Lutheolithic. It acts quickly and its effects last for 4 days or more.
COMPOSITION
Aqueous suspension containing 10 mg of Triamcinolone Acetonide per cc.
INDICATIONS
Therapy of the functions governed by the adrenal cortex. Bovine ketosis, stress, inflammatory processes, myositis, arthritis, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis, allergic processes, acute parenchymal mastitis.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Shake before using. Take proper aseptic precautions. In cows at the end of gestation, at high doses, it can induce calving.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Systemic effects, intramuscularly or subcutaneously, or local, intra-articularly or intra-synovially. Basic dose. Intramuscular or subcutaneous: Equines, 10 to 20 mg (1 to 2 cc). Cattle, 20 to 30 mg (2 to 3 cc). Small animals, 0.1 to 0.2 mg / kg (0.01 to 0.02 cc / kg). Intraarticular or intrasynovial: Equines, 5 to 20 mg (0.5 to 2 cc). Cattle, 10 to 30 mg (1 to 3 cc). Small animals, 1 to 3 mg (0.1 to 0.3 cc). The basic dose may be increased to double or more.
