Antidiarrheal of powerful action with which the acute and chronic effects of this pathology can be counteracted. Kaolin and pectin are two powerful water absorbers and are also protective of the gastrointestinal mucosa.
Homatropine bromide is a drug that acts at the level of the nervous system, blocking peristaltic activities and intestinal secretion, thereby reducing the transit and irritation that gastrointestinal secretions can cause. Neomycin and gentamicin antibiotics are of low intestinal absorption and therefore long acting, the combination acts on Gram positive and Gram negative agents.
Given the combination of active substances, DIARRESTOP is indicated in the treatment of both mechanical and infectious diarrhea.

Neomycin sulfate
(equivalent to neomycin base) 600 mg.
Gentamicin 900 mg.
Homatropine bromide 10 mg.
Pectin 400 mg.
Kaolin 15 g.
Vehicle c.b.p. 100 ml.
