PENCIVET is a long-acting parenteral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and antibiotic combination.
Active ingredient: Each 3 ml of the reconstituted product contains:
Penicillin g benzathine 600,000 I.U.
Penicillin g procaine 300,000 I.U.
Penicillin g potassium 300,000 I.U.
Streptomycin sulfate 500 mg
Diluent: Sodium diclofenac 40 mg.
Applications:
For the treatment of localized or systemic infections caused by gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms sensitive to the penicillin-streptomycin combination, which also cause acute or chronic inflammation of the affected tissue.
PENCIVET is effective against Staphylococcus spp, Streptococcus spp, Pasteurella spp, Salmonella spp, Clostridium spp, Corynebacterium spp, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Actinobacillus spp, Leptospira spp, etc.
Cattle: Diarrhea and pneumonia in calves, enteritis and septicemia caused by Salmonella spp, pododermatitis, mastitis, metritis, pyelonephritis, leptospirosis, post-surgical infections, etc.
Sheep: Pododermatitis, mastitis, metritis, pneumonia, listeriosis, post-surgical infections, etc.
Swine: Pasteurellosis and other pneumonias, metritis, mastitis, salmonellosis and other enteritis, post-surgical infections, etc.
Horses: Gurma or mumps, enteritis, pneumonia and other respiratory infections, clostridiasis, post-surgical wounds, metritis, mastitis, leptospirosis, etc.
