Treatment of diseases caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria susceptible to the combination of an antibiotic with an aminoglycoside.
FORMULA
Each ml contains:
Procaine Penicillin G 200,000 IU
Dihydrostreptomycin Sulfate
Equivalent to 0.25 g
Dihydrostreptomycin base
Procaine Hydrochloride 20mg
Vehicle c. b. p. 1 ml
FEATURES:
• Penicillin and Streptomycin alter the permeability of the bacterial membrane, causing bactericidal action. The mixture of penicillin and streptomycin potentiates the action of the two antibiotics to destroy gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative, common in many diseases and primary, secondary and chronic infections that attack animals, for which the bactericidal capacity is used without resorting to other unnecessary components, which when used indiscriminately cause the bacteria that survive the attack, to generate new more resistant bacteria.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:
Intramuscular exclusively.
DOSE:
Cattle (meat producers), Equines, Sheep, Goats, Swine, and Canines: 10,000 to 20,000 IU per kg of weight (equivalent to 1 ml
for every 10 to 20 kg. of weight).
WARNINGS:
Do not use this product 30 days before slaughter of animals intended for human consumption. Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight.
Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
