VITABECID® is indicated in cattle (meat and milk producers), sheep and goats as a general restorative in cases of stress, excessive exercise, fatigue, reduced resistance and as a tonic in cases of weakness, secondary anemia and cold; additionally supports muscle physiology, infertility treatment, tetany and paresis as an adjunct to calcium and magnesium therapy. In the treatment of healthy animals it is used to improve the general condition of the animals, for dairy cows subjected to the intense effort of lactation and to improve the reproductive efficiency of females and males.
Formula:
Each mL contains:
Butaphosphan 100 mg
Vitamin B-12 0.05 mg
Vehicle cbp 1 mL
Route of administration:
Subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous.
Dose:
Adult cattle: 10-20 mL
Foals and calves: 5-12 mL
Adult sheep and goats: 2.5-5 mL
Lambs and kids: 1.5-2.5 mL
Repeat daily if required.
In healthy animals, half the dose, and if necessary repeat it at intervals of 1 to 2 weeks.
