Antraxmune Tornel 100ml, ANTRAXMUNE® is a vaccine indicated to prevent carbonaceous fever, anthrax or anthrax in cattle, horses, sheep, goats and pigs. Bacillus anthracis, a bacterium that produces carbonaceous fever, has a peculiar characteristic, it is the only aerobic sporulated species. The spores resist dehydration for a long time and several researchers indicate that they have survived for 10 or more years. Infection by this bacillus can be carried long distances through spores and produce the disease in regions where it did not exist, which is why vaccination processes are indicated in all areas where susceptible animals live or where they have been detected cases of sick and dead animals from the disease. The Bacillus anthracis spores that are used in the preparation of this vaccine are not encapsulated, therefore they are avirulent despite being live bacilli, which allows ANTRAXMUNE® to have a high antigenic power, thus obtaining a high level of immunity in vaccinated animals. It is important to apply ANTRAXMUNE® in young animals after weaning, subsequently it is recommended to repeat the application annually. In areas where the disease is recurrent, it is recommended to apply this product every 6 months, especially before climatic changes occur.

Cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs.

Cattle and horses: 2 mL. Sheep, goats and pigs: 1 mL.

Subcutaneous.
FORMULA:
Vaccine made with live spores of Bacillus anthracis strain Sterne, attenuated, not encapsulated. With a titer greater than 1 x 106 / mL.
