GENTOMICYN SUPER is a wide range aminoglycoside antibiotic (gentamicin sulfate) that acts against Gram negative and Gram positive-sensitive germs. It is indicated for the treatment of rhinitis, pharyngitis and bronchitis in calves and piglets, as well as for the treatment of salmonellosis, necrotic enteritis and infections caused by E. coli, Shigella spp., Klebsiella spp., Staphylococci, Streptococci, enterobacteria, cytobacteria and other gentamicin-sensitive germs. In bovines, it is recommended for the treatment of pneumonia, septicemia, diarrhea, metritis, endometritis and mastitis. In equines, it is recommended for the treatment of pneumonia, metritis and endometritis.
USE IN:
Bovine, pigs, equine, birds, feline, canine.
DOSAGE:
Bovines and equines: 1 ml every 20 to 25 kg of body weight. Metritis: intrauterine application after removing tissue waste (pus). Dissolve 2 to 10 ml of GENTOMICYN SUPER in 200 ml of SUERO FISIOLÓGICO SALINO. Apply with a catheter until before reaching the cervix or uterine neck (repeat after 24 hours). Mastitis: Apply 2 ml of GENTOMICYN SUPER dissolved in 10 ml of SERUM FISIOLÓGICO SALINO with a cannula into the affected quarter. Birds: 0.2 mg dissolved in 0.2 ml of Saline Physiological Serum. 1 ml of GENTOMICYN SUPER in 100 ml of SALINE PHYSIOLOGICAL SERUM is enough to treat 500 birds. Apply doses according to the veterinarian (read the instructions attached to the product). Canines: 0.6 ml every 10 kg of body weight. SPECIES Bovines, equines, porcines, ovines, caprines, canines, felines and birds.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTE:
Intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous, intrauterine, intramammary and oral administration.
WARNINGS:
Keep in a dry and cool place. Keep away from sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use this product 14 days before the slaughter of animals intended human consumption. Do not consume the milk of treated animals until 4 days after the last application. Do not consume the eggs of treated birds until 1 day after the last application.
