WHAT IS GLYCOSAN?
Glycosan is a sterile injectable solution of glucosamine hydrochloride 200 mg/ml for exclusive intravenous use, indicated to treat arthritic joints and rebuild cartilage.Sport horses treated with IV glucosamine (Glycosan) show significant improvement within two weeks.
HOW TO ADMINISTER GLYCOSAN?
Dosage for an adult horse (500 kg):
To relieve pain and repair joints: Administer 20 ml via intravenous injection every 5 to 10 days.
As preventive treatment: Administer 20 ml of intravenous Glycosan on race day.
