ibanproll is a new product developed and dosed by Laboratorio RIPOLL obtained from Ibandronate Sodium, through an exclusive manufacturing process. Ibandronate belongs to the class of drugs called bisphosphonates, which are used for the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis, acting as preventive of bone breakdown and increasing mineral density (BMD).
COMPOSITION
Each mL of ibanpoll solution contains 1 mg of Ibandronate Sodium
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSE
Administer 10 mL of ibanproll daily for 3 consecutive days (30 mL) for an adult equine, as the first treatment cycle.
Each 10 mL ampoule of ibanproll should be applied in 250 mL (or more) of physiological saline, by intravenous administration.
It is important that you supplement with Calcium and Vitamin D, from 3 or 4 days before starting the treatment until completing about 7-10 days of supplementation.
PRESENTATION
ibanproll is presented in packs containing 3 vials of 10 mL, sufficient for a treatment cycle of an adult equine.
