For the parenteral treatment of bacterial infections in Equines, Bovines, Calves, Pigs, Sheep, Goats, Lambs, Canines, Felines and Birds. The combination of sulfadoxine and trimethoprin has a synergistic action that enhances the spectrum of action, presents good absorption, distribution and prolonged action. It works against Gram positive and Gram negative germs such as: Streptococcus (including hemolytic), Salmonella, Klebsiella, Shigella, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Vibrio coli, Staphylococcus, Neumococcus, Meningococcus, Haemophilus, Escherichia coli and Proteus. In cattle for the treatment of: Metritis, infections due to placental retentions, postpartum septicemia, diseases of the respiratory system, diarrhea, gabarro, coccidiosis, mastitis and peritonitis. In horses for the treatment of: Sinusitis, diseases of the respiratory system, gurma or mumps, genitourinary infections, diarrhea, navel disease, skin diseases, otitis media, pharyngitis and influenza. In pigs it is indicated in: Bronchopneumonia, toxoplasmosis, colibacillosis, atrophic rhinitis, infectious enteritis and influenza. In sheep for the treatment of: Bronchopneumonia, infected wounds, diarrhea and salmonellosis.
USE IN:
Cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, cats.
DOSE:
Cattle, horses, sheep and pigs: 3 mL for every 50 kg of weight. The dose can be increased or decreased at the discretion of the Veterinary Zootechnician. See attached instructions.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:
Intravenous (of choice in horses), or intramuscular.
WARNINGS:
This product should not be used 5 days before the slaughter of animals intended for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children. Keep in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight.
