TRAMADOL PET´S NORVET XL x100mg
It is indicated for processes or etiologies that present with moderate to severe pain, of acute, chronic origin or refractory to other treatments (fractures, dislocations, fibromyalgias, amputations, oncological, visceral, osteo-articular, muscular, urological and dental syndromes) , can also be used as a preoperative, postoperative analgesic and diagnostic exploration procedures that present pain in canines and domestic felines.
FORMULA:
Each tablet contains:
TRAMADOL PET´S ” S” 10 mg.
TRAMADOL PET´S “M” 20 mg.
TRAMADOL PET´S “L” 40 mg.
TRAMADOL PET´S “X L” 100 mg.
Excipient c.b.p. 1 tablet
10 tabs
DOSE:
It is recommended to start the dosage with small doses, to later increase it until the effective dose is found for each pet.
Canines (2 to 4 mg / kg bw):
To dose 2 mg / kg bw: 1 tablet for every 20 kg bw, BID.
To dose 4 mg / kg bw: 1 tablet for every 10 kg bw, BID.
If necessary, more frequent administration, TID or QID if pain is severe, not exceeding 10 mg / kg per day. Reduce the dose gradually after 48 hours until the treatment is suspended after 14 days.
The dosage and duration of the treatment is at the discretion and responsibility of the Veterinarian according to the intensity of the pain and the individual susceptibility of each pet.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Oral, taken directly or mixed with food without crushing the tablet.
In case of overdose: use naloxone to reverse respiratory depression, as well as I.V. diazepam. to control seizures.
Do not administer a double dose to make up for the forgotten dose, but if it is in a period equal to or greater than 7 hours before the next dose, administer the forgotten one.
Partially used tablets should be kept in the original container. Keep this product in a cool, dry place protected from light.
Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
