UTP, uridine triphosphate or triphosphateuridine, is a pyrimidine nucleotide, It´s used by the cell as an energy source, as well as serves as a substrate in several metabolic reactions, in the same way as ATP but with a greater specificity. Thus, the UTP can bind to other molecules, activating them for a certain metabolic pathway, forming UDP-substrate molecules with the consequent release of an inorganic phosphate.
L-Arginine is an essential amino acid that is involved in the synthesis of creatine, and plays a crucial role in the release of growth hormone and insulin.
