This substance controls the babesias and anaplasmas found in the blood, reducing their number; by not completely eradicating them, it allows the parasitized animal to develop a solid immunity against this pathological entity. Moreover, imidocarb maintains a preventive effect against the disease up to 1 month after treatment. IMIPLASM-B® has the following mechanism of action: It inhibits the energy metabolism and the synthesis of DNA of the parasite. In the first case, it blocks the aerobic metabolism of glucose, in the second, it inhibits DNA synthesis, and this is observed in the nucleus of the cells and the kinetoplast of the parasite; Upon closer observation, it is concluded that the activity of IMIPLASM-B® breaks down the mitochondrial activity of babesia, leading to its death. DOSE:
