Pharmacological properties:
General characteristics: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) from the group of oxicams, which
it acts by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins. In vitro and in vivo studies showed that
it inhibits cyclooxygenase 2 (COX 2) to a greater extent than cyclooxygenase 1 (COX 1).
Indications and target species:
Dogs: Relief of inflammation and pain in acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders.
Reduction of inflammation and postoperative pain after orthopedic and soft tissue surgery.
Cats: Reduction of postoperative pain after ovariohysterectomy or minor surgery
soft tissues.
Conservation mode:
• Do not store above 25 ° C.
• Shelf life after opening the container: 28 days.
Observations:
Veterinary use. Medicine subject to a veterinary prescription.
