Rimadyl® (Carprofen) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) in the propionic acid family, which includes ibuprofen, naproxen, and ketoprofen.
Rimadyl® Chewable Tablets are indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and for the control of post-operative pain associated with orthopedic and soft tissue surgery in dogs.
ORAL
The recommended dosage for oral administration in dogs is 4 mg of Carprofen per kg of body weight, daily.
The total daily dose should be given as 4 mg / Kg of body weight once a day or divided and given as 2 mg / Kg twice a day.
Presentation:
They are split and contain 25 mg, 75 mg or 100 mg of Carprofen per tablet. Each tablet presentation is packaged in bottles of 14, 30, 60 or 180 tablets.
